Microphone for iPod Touch

I'm a little confused on which microphone to get for use with the latest generation iPod Touch. Can you please recommend the best one? Thanks!

    I want to use my iPod Touch as an RTA for ringing-out microphones for audio and video conference systems.

    You might want to check out the Alesis ProTrack solution, which enables you to use your preferred phantom-powered measurement microphone with a 2nd or 3rd generation iPod touch.
