SignalScope's Polar Plot tool generates circular graphs containing polar or directional data, such as the directivity pattern of acoustic sources (e.g. loudspeakers, machinery, appliances, musical instruments, etc) or receivers (e.g. microphones). Multiple polar data sets can be plotted simultaneously and a data cursor can be placed in the plot (with a click or tap) to identify angle and magnitude of specific data points. When multiple data sets are being plotted, a cursor circle can optionally be drawn at a radius corresponding to the magnitude of any one of those data sets at the angle of the cursor.
The formatting of data for import into the Polar Plot tool is specified in the Data Import page.
Polar Plots can be exported to PDF as high resolution images.
